Brian Katz

Brian Katz is the Chief Investment Officer at Prosperity, where he leads the investment team and sets the strategic direction for portfolio management across the firm. With over 30 years of experience in investment management, Brian brings deep expertise in equity research, portfolio construction, and multi-asset class strategy design.

As head of the firm's Investment Committee, Brian sets the strategic direction for how client portfolios are managed. He works to build investment solutions tailored to each client's goals and tolerance for risk, drawing from Prosperity's research and strategies, carefully selected external managers, and access to private investment opportunities. His approach emphasizes thoughtful, research-driven decision-making grounded in a deep understanding of how markets work.

He regularly communicates with advisors and clients about market conditions and investment strategy and shares insights through media appearances and industry presentations. He also serves on RIA advisory councils for BlackRock and Ares, staying connected to industry developments.

Prior to joining Prosperity, Brian was Chief Investment Officer at Focus Partners Wealth.
